FAQ

n8n automation questions,
answered.

Why not just hire a Fiverr seller for $50?

You can — and it'll work for about three weeks. Then it'll break silently, with no audit log to tell you why, no error handler to alert you, no documentation to fix it without re-hiring. If your automation only needs to run for a week, $50 is the right price. If it needs to run for two years, you want production discipline. That's the difference.

Do you work in Make or Zapier?

n8n is my primary tool. I'll do Make or Zapier for existing customers on request, but I won't take a new project on a platform I think is wrong for the job. If your use case fits Make or Zapier better than n8n, I'll tell you honestly during the audit.

Who owns the workflow when you're done?

You do. Workflow JSON is exported and delivered as part of every tier — you can re-import it into any n8n instance, modify it freely, share it with future contractors. No vendor lock-in, no "my IP" claims.

Self-hosted n8n or n8n Cloud?

Both — your choice. I'll build wherever your stack lives. If you don't have an n8n instance yet, I'll set one up on Docker or recommend n8n Cloud depending on your scale and team.

Where are you based and what hours?

Pakistan (UTC+5). Async-first — the build itself runs over email: daily written progress updates, every decision in writing, every scope change documented. Want a 15-minute intro call before we start? Just ask — it's available. Delivery then stays async, so there's no time-zone gymnastics and no detail lost to a spoken conversation.

Payment terms?

50% upfront, 50% on delivery. Wise (preferred), Stripe, or international bank transfer. Invoiced under my name + domain. No retainers required for tier work — pay per project.

What if delivery doesn't meet scope?

Within the scope doc we both signed at step 02, I fix it. Within the bug-fix window after delivery, I fix it. If delivery genuinely doesn't meet the agreed scope and we can't reconcile, you get a full refund within 7 days of delivery — no questions, no penalty clauses.

How are you different from an n8n agency?

One operator instead of a team. You email the person actually building it — not a project manager who relays messages. Smaller pricing because no agency overhead. Smaller volume because no contractors. Better fit if you want quality over scale, and someone you can directly hold accountable.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, standard mutual NDA on request before scoping. Case studies on this site are all anonymized; specific client names and full implementation details are shared under NDA once an engagement is signed.

What if I need changes after the support window?

Two options: optional monthly retainer for ongoing maintenance (Custom tier only), or per-incident at a fixed rate quoted before work begins. Most clients on Starter/Standard don't need either — once production patterns are baked in, the workflows just run.
